The first event to be known as an ‘Easylarity’ event, was the Loughborough Car Club Metric Services rally on Sunday 9 October 2011. Previously known as the Loughborough Car Club ’100′ Rally (in reference to the 100 miles route), the rally retained the popular format of easy regularity sections interspersed with non-damaging grass autotest/slalom sections on a billiard smooth grass field. This is the intended novice-friendly concept of an Easylarity event.
The Historic Rally Register (HRCR) have now adopted the Easylarity name and format as a benchmark for novice suitable events. It is the ideal event to move on from classroom tuition to the real thing. It is particularly good practice for those contemplating longer distance endurance rallies such as those organised by the Endurance Rally Association and HERO.
LOUGHBOROUGH CAR CLUB’S EASYLARITY EVENT FOR 2019 WILL BE ON SUNDAY, 19 MAY.
The HQ venue for the event will be The Belvoir Brewery at Old Dalby near Melton Mowbray, close to the A46 trunk road. The 100 mile route will follow the popular tried and tested format of previous years.
